I am not sure if you play the lotto, but let’s say you decided to try your luck and you win a very big jackpot. What would you do with that money? Seeing this classic Hamptons beach house that is actually for sale for $29,900,000 made me wonder if I could ever imagine spending that amount of money on a house. Doesn’t it sound hard to write a check with that many zeros?
Located in East Hampton, NY, the prestigious “Further Lane Farm” compound is a premium construction of 17,000 sq. ft. that was built in 2010. Sitting on a gated 5.8 acres (includes 2.2 acre building lot plus exclusive use of 3.6 acre open-space reserve) with sweeping views over 41 acre of protected farm reserve minutes to ocean, this custom home was designed by architect John Murray with interiors by noted decorator Victoria Hagan.
Large light-filled open rooms featuring a big family room and a dream kitchen, master suite plus 9 additional bedrooms, media/playroom and not to mention a 60 ft pool with pool-house and north/south har-tru tennis court.
Take a look and let me know what you think… would you add this home to your list if you won the lottery tomorrow?

I have been to this house!!! It is THE perfect beach house, whats not to love…plus its in one of the most desirable places in all of the Hamptons…beach house perfection! Enjoy your day.
I’m curious how much of the price is the land. The home is beautiful, but most of that cost has to be the location. Any ideas?
How can you go wrong with Victoria Hagan? It’s perfection. Love everything.
House is loverly, but for $29,000,000 I would want an ocean view.
Dream…BIG!!! franki
Wao it’s incredible! Very, very nice. When do you say we go?
xoxo
I simply can not understand a house, even as fantastic and beautiful and perfect as this one, worth $29,000,000 and not be on the water. I would question why on earth people who could afford this house would not search to the end of the earth to find a more suitable site to have their spectacular built. But, congratulations on your wonderful house.
Any idea what stone or ceramic tile was used in the mudroom?
Hello Kim,
The flooring in the mudroom is bluestone.
Thank you.
Luciane
Thank you so much for getting back to me… I’ve gone from tile store to tile store with a picture of the mudroom in hand. So the bluestone looks to be thermal cut, correct?
